Global Outreach (Bahrain) and the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education – ISKME (Silicon Valley, USA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as Partners-in-Training in the Gulf Area, on the 18th of July, 2014. Signing on behalf of ISKME was Dr. Lisa Petrides, CEO and Founder.

 

ISKME is an independent, education nonprofit whose mission is to improve the practice of continuous learning, collaboration, and change in the education sector. Established in 2002, ISKME conducts social science research, develops research-based innovations, and facilitates innovation that improves knowledge sharing in education. Based in Silicon Valley’s Half Moon Bay, California, ISKME supports innovative teaching and learning practices throughout the globe, and is well-known for its pioneering open education initiatives.

 

One of ISKME’s outstanding annual events, is the big ideas fest. The 7th annual: Big Ideas Fest 2015 that is now open for Registration – it’s an event that inspires transformation in education.
